Dear Subscribers,
Thank you for the tremendous response, from the prosthetist community, to
help this individual.
Must be the season since nearly every ceritified prosthetist provider in
South Dakota responded and some located out of state as well.
Will keep you posted as to the results.
Our organization is experiencing a large amount of requests from patients
referred to us, whom believe they are not qualified for various funding
programs for prosthetic rehabilitation.
Those providers that seek out written denials from various funding
resources, will most likely have exceptions made in the approval process
in order for the patient to recieve prosthetic rehabilitation benefits.
Insist the denials be in writing, signed by a PERSON. Explain that alternate
funding sources maybe available by a federally registered non profit 501 (c)
3 organization provided the denials are made in writing, as requested by the
Barr Foundation.
Thank you, Paul Prusakowski CEO O&P Digital Technologies and founder of the
O&P List serve, for this invaluable media tool.
