Hello colleagues and guests
I'm curious about the VA rules and
regulations as they pertain to test sockets. It is my understanding
that the VA only allows one test socket. I wish I were that good,
but unfortunately on most occasions I need more than one to get the job
done properly. In our practice we try to measure success by
outcomes, not by the number of test sockets. Even so, they do cost
money and this needs to be factored into the professional services
rendered. I realize there has to be a limit, but
one test socket?
If the VA only allows one
test socket, I'm guessing that most veterans are not getting the fitting
results that they deserve and I, for one, would like to challenge this
particular ruling if it is indeed a national policy of the VA.
Thanks for your confidential replies.
