Looking for component recommendations: male patient, moderate-high activity
level (K-3), 6'4, 385lbs, TT, history of same side hip Fx. Came to us using
Ossur's VSP, approximately every year proximal aspect of outer shock housing
disintegrates and must be repaired. Side spring is stiff enough to prevent
bottoming out but he's 20 lbs over shock weight limit. Looking for
alternate feet with shock rated to his weight/activity level which would
allow for attachment to existing socket which has fixed female adaptor
(socket componentry is rated). If no shocks available we would consider
foot without shock. Titanium componentry with most feet are rated to 365lbs.
Thanks in advance.
