Thanks for the responses. Pretty much all the same, use adhesive or some type of tubing to secure the prosthesis. I failed to mention the pt is currently trying adhesive but isn't having much luck. My only guess is because the proximal end of the prosthesis is too firm and doesn't flex enough when he bends his finger. Therefore, it just pulls the adhesive off. Going to try tubing of sorts.
Looking for a cheap/easy way to improve suspension of partial finger prosthesis (mid proximal phalanx) of index finger. Not sure who made the prosthesis, but it is a little stiff and doesn't have suction suspension. Pt is only concerned with playing piano and is not concerned with cosmesis.
