Test socket fit very well w/ 6mm easy liner and a sheath—expulsion valve/sleeve
10/05/06 Definitive fit & delivery: same fit and comfort w/ easy liner & sheath
10/12/06 Follow-up visit- pt No loner fitting in definitive.
Circumferential measurements:
10/12/06……….inch level………….09/14/06
15 3/8” ____MPT 15”
14_3/4 1” 14_1/4
14_3/4- 2 14_1/4-
14_5/8- 3 14+
14_1/4 4 13_5/8
Current body weight: 160-167 lbs
Pt reports increase in fluid weight reduction at dialysis this week to 10 lbs Mon. Oct 16th and 8 lbs Wed.-- is wearing his temp with easy liner & sheath.
Questions: Has anyone seen this much change in a short period of time? AND, what if his volume doesn’t return to that of definitive fitting? The def’ socket absolutely fit well upon receipt, he wore it for a week and he never had a volume swing like this during his temporary socket wear. (???)
Your advise/comments would be greatly appreciated.
