Attention all:
The FCAAOP is offering a 2-day prosthetic workshop on October 13-14, 2006 located at the Tampa Shriners Hospital for Children.
October 13 will be a certification course for the TruLife microprocessor knees. These are the most affordable microprocessors on the market and there will be a patient model for this full-day workshop. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.
October 14 will be upper extremity prosthetic interface design. Focus will be comparing and contrasting radial designs, casting techniques, humeral designs, thoracic designs, diagnostic assessment and modifications. This will be a half-day course.
The remainder of the day will consist of microprocessor componentry for upper extremity prosthetics. Breakfast and Lunch will also be provided.
