I have a patient who would like to switch to a Rheo
knee from a C leg. He was a long term Mauch user who
switched over to a C leg several years ago. His (and
my) concern is about being at the high end of the
weight limit of the Rheo knee. He maintains a weight
of 195 lbs (max weight limit on Rheo is
198 lbs). He is very active and has a long residual
limb. My question: is this concern valid?
Has any one run into problems using this knee on this
type of individual.
