I am sorry, but I am getting quite hateful e-mails assuming I have mentioned the ORTHOTIC FACILITY publicly where I was casted and had all these issues. I HAVE NOT DONE THAT! Chedoke AFOs are a TYPE OF BRACE, and the only way I can descibe them to careful observers or orthotists who have taken the course at Chedoke. They were NOT made there, though Don Weber knows who they were made by and will see me as soon as he possibly can. The Orthotic facility where they were made nor the professionals I am dealing with were NEVER mentioned, though as a patient, I have every right to be frustrated with them, as I have been back 20-30 times for adjustments with no results for these braces...
They are a local company. I live 2 hours from Chedoke.

There are NO other orthotists on the team to see, either, as some of you seem to think.

Just felt a need to defend myself as a patient. I have kept this as confidential as possible and almost feel as if I deserve apologies from those of you making assumptions...

Don't Quit.

Don't quit when the tide is lowest,
For it's just about to turn;
Don't Quit over doubts and questions,
For there's something you may learn.
Don't quit when the night is darkest,
For it's just a while 'til dawn;
Don't quit when you've run the farthest,
For the race is almost won.
Don't quit when the hill is steepest,
For your goal is almost nigh;
Don't quit, for you're not a failure
Until you fail to try.

The word 'Impossible' itself spells - I'm possible.
