Try Coolmedics.com, they are in California.
Apex Performance LLC: COOL SHIRT » Cool Shirt Systems

Several are available. I'd probably dispense on a cash-pay basis.

Good Luck,
The best ones are used by sportscar racers. One can be purchased from Summit racing.com.
there is a company called gameready that makes them for Dr.'s while
standing
in the operating room. They are vests that circulate ice cold water
through
them. These might be appropriate.
Hi, Nathan -
I remember those vests - We used to use them at VA hospitals, mainly for MS or SCI patients. I did a simple Google on cooling vests and came up with MANY sources - Some of them:
Steele Body Cooling Comfort Systems - <URL Redacted>
StaCool Vests - http://www.stacoolvest.com/
Climatech - http://www.climatechsafety.com/Products.htm?referrer=Google
Cool Sport - http://www.coolsport.net/index2.html
Aircast makes a Back/rib belt type of cooling pad that's associated with their ice system. It will only cool one side
It isn't really what you are looking for, but I ordered this for my mom
and
she LOVES it.

It might be possible to make it into some sort of vest. It is heavy
though
since it is filled with water. I noticed that they make cushions for
the
keyboard, but I'm not sure they are the same technology. Might be
easier to
make them in to something.
Have you tried the auto racing field?
There used to be a company which made cooling vests for road construction crews. Basically they were nothing but the flexible cooling packs whic when frozen would cool down heat like arizona. Your patients could buy a personal flotation device. Take the foam out of it and replace them with freeze packs and wear over the cloths. Frozen packs can also be seperated with the foam packs from personal floatation devices.
I am not familiar with these, other than to say that they are used in
the
racing world of NASCAR, etc.

Your local welding supply has these.

weird though this may sound have you tried any of the race shops? stock cars get pretty hot in there, and there may be a solution in the driver cool suits...and if they don't they can probably refer you to someone who do.
