Just this morning a PT brings to my attention that she saw a patient comes
in with a horrible copy of an R-Wrap AFOC. It was no where close to being
an R-Wrap AFOC. When does billing and charging for an item that is not what
the patient asked for and what was on the RX correct? Making of an R-Wrap
AFOC incorrectly has been told to me by several PT's from across the USA.
What upsets me is that these copies are by no way done the way the AFO
should be done and the AFO doesn't perform as the proper R-Wrap AFOC
should.

Since I design this item and have done over 1600 in the last 12 years I have
the right to critique this AFO. Trying to pawn off these horrible attempts
as the real thing I think is unethical. It is also disservice to the
reputation of the original design and concept. The original concept was to
help patients not to make money, but some seem to think that making money is
more important then doing what is right!

Is this Unethical behavior by the cannons of ABC?
