I write this in regard to several recent postings by Jennifer Zubko of
Canada who has cerebral palsy.

Who could write her a hateful e-mail in response to her postings? Shame on
you who ever you all are. Are we not in this professional field to help
people in her situation? She is frustrated by inadequate care be it the
fault of a clinician, a company, or the monetary limitations which frustrate
all in our field. She is reaching out to us for help, not admonishment. I am
an orthotic technician, and that is why I am - I want to help people, just
like I have had beautiful caring people help me (I am also a bk amputee).
She deserves respect and legitimate responses and I apologize for any
rudeness shown from my profession.

Frankly, if I delivered less than adequate care, I would want to know. At
the least it would help me be a better tech in the future and hopefully I
could improve her present situation through her honesty and apparent
willingness to TRY.

Now, come on my friends and colleagues, lets come up with useful
information to pass on, after all that is why we are PROFESSIONALS.
