Hello All,
Does anyone know of a sealing sleeve for the Harmony system that is durable,
tapered and sticky?
I have a client who is in the Harmony system that has permitted a greater
level of activity than this individual has ever experienced in the past, yet
the downfall of the system is the sealing sleeve. This person has a fair
amount of adipose tissue on the thigh of the amputated side, (MTP
circumference 15.5 and 30 - 6 superior to the MTP) that tends to hang
when she stands. Perspiration is a problem during periods of high activity
causing sleeve and liner to slide off and durability of the TEC sealing
sleeve has been an issue while hiking.
Are there any sleeves out there that are durable and tapered, further, has
anyone had any experience with auxiliary suspension (garter belts, straps,
etc.) on a Harmony system during high activity?
I'd appreciate hearing anyone's thoughts on this matter. Thank you
