Chief Spinal Technician Wanted in Sunny Orlando
Rapidly expanding prefabricated brace manufacturer HOPE Orthopedic seeks chief orthotic technician for our new custom-spinal department. You must be expert at modifying plaster molds, vacuum-forming plastic and foam, and finishing (trimming and strapping) spinal orthoses.
You will be managing our spinal central fabrication department, which will involve making custom LSOs and TLSOs from measurements (using our state of the art CAD system) or from casts (using plaster, the old fashioned way), making trim patterns, dealing with customers, training and managing technicians, etc. We are hiring specifically for spinal, but if you are experienced in KAFOs, AFOs, and general orthotic fabrication, we would welcome that experience. Previous CAD/CAM experience is a plus. Prosthetic technical experience will improve your resume even further.
At HOPE Orthopedic, we produce quality products we're proud of. We have high standards, and we do not plan to relax them in our new custom-spinal department. Therefore, we are looking for someone to whom quality takes top priority. If you are a technician that has ever been told by a boss, It doesn't have to be that precise or you need to learn to cut corners a little or who do you think you are, Michelangelo? you might just be the technician we seek!
We offer high pay, good benefits (including health, dental, optical, insurance, retirement, etc.) and an excellent work environment. If you think you would be a good fit in a quality-conscious environment, please contact me at HOPE Orthopedic by e-mailing your resume to <Email Address Redacted> or faxing it to 888-440-1217.
Best Regards,
David
