For those patients that are over the 300 lb. mark, it seems that a
carbon pylon is all that is available (if there a SS one, please let
me know who makes it). With one individual, I have problems with the
carbon/tube clamp rotating. I used an Ossur set up. His old leg had
a OWW set up by another facility and the marks they made on the pylon
were rotated from the reference points on the tube clamps. The Ossur
rep just happened to be waiting for me when that patient was last
here and he got on the phone with his office and I was told to use
super glue. I did. It didn't work.
Any ideas, suggestions, etc?
