Orthotics Technician at Tampa Shriners Hospitals for Children
The Shriners Hospitals for Children Orthotics and Prosthetics department
in Tampa, Florida has an immediate opening for a full-time Orthotics
Technician. This position requires a minimum of 2 years or more of
Orthotics fabrication experience and a high school diploma or
equivalency. Must be able to build and maintain supportive
relationships with co-workers and practitioners. Shriners Hospitals is
a teaching hospital that provides excellent state of the art care for
children with orthopedic needs free of charge to the patient. Our
departmental staff consists of 10 practitioners & 7 technicians, their
diverse educational and technical backgrounds make them an excellent
group to work with. Additionally, we currently have three staff
practitioners working as adjunct professors that teach St. Petersburg
College BS O&P students lower extremity orthotics on site in the
evenings. We are located on the University of South Florida's campus and
we are housed in a newly designed and built facility. We offer
excellent benefits, salary commensurate with experience. If you are a
