Dear Members:
We are using puff/eva pads in a few of our orthoses requiring custom padding.
For thermoforming, we apply Barge Rubber Cement because of its qualities of
easy removal when using VOLARA (Aliplast) but are finding that it is adhering
too strongly to the EVA, even when it is thinned out with their solvent. The
pad remains adhered to the mold and it is difficult to remove and damages the
pad.
Any suggestions on what adhesives to use with the EVA foam during fabrication
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
