Dear listmembers,

I am sure this has been a question on this list before but I have to ask
this anyway:

We are looking for an energy storing foot which can be used in and out of
the water. Our customer (traumatic BK) wants one universal leg for active
daily use, showering, swimming (fresh as well as salt water), walking
barefoot on the beach,. He is using a pin and liner system and he is willing
to accept a compromise. We are considering changing him to a Seattle foot
from the Flex foot he is currently using. He does not like waterproof covers
for they wear and tear too fast. Thus, we are planning to do an exoskeletal
design using a waterproof foot. What other choices but the Seattle foot do
we have? What would you consider the best choice for a compromise between an
active foot and usability in water? Our customer is in his thirties, 150
lbs, and he is very active.

Thank you all very much in advance for sharing your experiences. I will post
responses if so desired.
