Dear members of this list,
For a waterproof leg we are considering to use the Air-Lock by Coyote
Design. Over here in Germany this lock is not very well known and there is
the concern that the plastic lock (as well as the plastic pin) might not be
as sturdy and as durable as the commonly used alternatives employing a metal
mechanism and pin.
I would be very interested in reading about your experiences with that
particular lock in terms of durability, reliability, possible problems. I am
aware that there are alternative waterproof locks and I have used those in
the past. Thus, my question refers to the Coyote Air-Lock in particular.
Thanks in advance very much for your inputs.
