Level Four O&P

We are a progressive multiple facility practice. (Offices in Winston Salem, Hickory, Lenoir, and Boone North Carolina) We are seeking a certified orthotist with an interest in peds and Cranial Shaping helmets. We work closely with a large teaching university with a free standing children hospital. We are fortunate to have a diverse and challenging practice. At the present time we are the primary and sometime the only provider of peds services in the areas that we cover within our practice. We work closely with area peds PT’s and with several school system based PT programs.
We would prefer a female clinician for this position and before we get blasted from people stating why a male can do the same job let us give some of our reasons.
1.The patient population for the helmets is very young and we think that a female may be a better choice for the patients comfort.
2.Most of the patients for helmets come in with their mothers and they may be more comfortable with a female.
3.Currently we are all male clinicians and this would provide a patient care option that at the present time we can out offer.
Please resume to:
