Magazine - Advanced for Directors in Rehabilitation, go to the link below,
press and hold the Ctrl key and left click on it, the article is Coding
Clues, specifically the question and answer section where the question comes
from an OTR inquiring as to how to bill for Lcodes she/he is custom
fabricating in in patient/SNF environment. It seems that that she/he is
not only being told (based on the therapy setting) to bill for the Lcode for
the custom orthotic but also for the time spent (fabricating/fitting?) it
and then also training time for teaching the patient how to apply and wear
and use, etc. using appropriate CPT codes for minutes.
