We are fitting a AK amputee with a MAS socket. So far, when we have
him walk in his test socket---the prosthesis internally rotates. We
have checked the placement of the ear on his ischial, ramal complex,
trim lines, etc. yet cannot come up with a reason why the socket is
rotating and it always internally rotates vs. external rotation. We
have also fit some other patients with the MAS system successfully and
(of course) without this problem. Any suggestions?
