Hello list members,
We have a 17 years 0 months male gymnast with a 27 degree plus thoracic
curve measured at T-7. There is a thoracic lordosis and severe rotation
which is why we are asking for suggestions. His right scapula wings out
and his right shoulder is 1-1/2 inches higher than the left. His arms
and shoulders are very muscular. There is some lumbar lordosis which is
minimal and manageable. There is no rotation below T-12. There is a
tight ball of muscle on the left side of the spine that seems to run
between T-12 and L -3.
Considering his age and the curve we have doubts that we'll have
success with orthotic treatment.
If you would like to offer your opinion/suggestions based on the AP X
rays and pictures of the cast we took, please let me know and I'll send
them to you.
Thanks for your consideration and have a good weekend!

If your reply to me comes back undeliverable, please forward that
error message to our IT guy, Bruce. He'll forward your message to me.His
