Dear O&P List,
for a special project I am in search of an OEM manufacturer of relatively inexpensive orthotic knee joints to be used in bandages. For stability reasons joints made from plastics will most likely not suffice. Gear type joints or multi axial joints would be preferred over single axis joints and we need to be able to add flexion as well as extension stopps. Since we require only round about 1000 pairs per year, custom manufacturing of our own design is too expensive and the joints offered by the known O&P providers I have found are made to be used in rigid custom orthothes and, thus, again are too expensive.
I would appreciate it very much if I could get a contact address. Thanks in advance!
