Info/Update On AmpuBalm

Since inception over 20 years ago, the product Ampu-Balm has been patented
and manufactured by SPS. If you have purchased this product from another
source such as Pel, Cascade, Hosmer etc... it all comes from SPS and our employed
mixing lab. In the past 20 years the formalization of Ampu-Balm has not
changed. Its primary ingredient is Mutton Tallow (sheep fat). In the past couple
of years SPS has had a hard time getting consistent product from our mixing lab
which has caused some back orders in the past year. About 3 months ago SPS
received the first batch from a new mixing lab. After shipping this product to
our customers and other distributors, we had a few complaints that the
viscosity was too thin. Batch number 2 was slightly tweaked to have a thicker
consistency and we now feel confident that this is same product you received in
years past. If you received the thinner product and you are dissatisfied with
it, please return it to your point of purchase and ask for a replacement. SPS
has worked vigorously to retain consistency in our Ampu-Balm product and we
apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.
Thanks you,
