I recently read an article about a hip-joint incorporating a wheel. When attached to a hip disarticulation socket, the wheel followed a track in the socket. This moved the traditional center of articulation from anterior to distal to the limb. I'm looking for references to this device and input from anyone who has used it. I don't remember what publication printed the article, but I've had poor luck finding it on oandp.com, biomech.com etc. I would appreciate any leads or feedback you may have.
Thank You,
