Hello, everyone. The O&P EDGE has received a call for help from a lady
in Rockingham, North Carolina, who breeds, raises, and rescues boxers.
She has a puppy that had to have a front leg taken off an inch below the
elbow (like Maulee in the June issue of The EDGE).
She wants to locate a prosthetist who can provide the puppy with a
prosthesis when the puppy is grown. She is willing to pay for services.
She had originally considered putting the puppy to sleep because of its
disability, but her family said, That's not an option.

So the puppy had a second chance! If you are interested in helping this
puppy have a productive life with a prosthesis, please send your
response to: Meredy Fullen, Managing Editor, The O&P EDGE: Phone:
