I have a cancer patient with an unusual condition. Originally had melanoma which spread to the head of his humerus. Doctors removed the head of his humerus, all lymph nodes in the armpit area and replaced the head with a rod in his proximal humerus. This has left an arm with tremendous swelling (all the time). The patient wears a compression hose all the time from wrist to armpit. He retained functions in his hand and wrist. His arm has subluxed so that his shoulder joint appears empty.
I am looking for recommendation on companies for silicone cosmetic shoulder caps. Is Likelike laboratories in Dallas still around? Are there other companies that will work with the prosthetist over a distance?
Any help would be appreciated.
