List Members,
I have a patient wearing a urethane liner with a Harmony system. He developed a yeast infection in the RL. After the infection was cleared up, he went back to the urethane liner. The infection developed again. O. Bock said that the infection has most likely gone into the liner, and they recommended replacing it. As an option, they suggested soaking the liner in alcohol for an extended time. Are there any other options? Have you encountered this problem before and resolved it any other way beside replacing the liner?
