Recently, the Barr Foundation was contacted by the office manager of a
major footwear manufacturer re: the donation of 100 to 200 half-pairs of
sample footwear.
Unfortunate we cannot use the donation, since our work in developing
nations mostly in Mexico, and countries of Central and South America,
would place duty on such items making it costly for us to provide these
donations.
Most of these countries manufacture and export shoes and clothes
themselves , they would deter bringing similar product in.
If another nonprofit organization or humanitarian organization may have an
interest, please contact me and Ill put you in touch with them.

Good morning,
I received your name from Tony Derrick.
I am hoping you will be able to help me or direct me to the correct contact.
I am the office manager of a sales office which works directly with a major
footwear manufacturer.
Twice a year, we have 100 to 200 half-pairs of sample footwear and would
like to consider donating them to an organization that could / would give
them to prosthetic patients.
Would you be able to provide any information for me to pursue this?
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you
Kimberly
