Among the tools presented are multiple-choice questions, short answer questions and written simulations, all with immediate feedback to reinforce concepts and to provide self assessment. View the lectures and assessments as often as you wish for the duration of the course. An asynchronous discussion board is used to develop your prescription formulation skills and your ability to rationalize your recommendations. UT Southwestern faculty will monitor the discussion board to clarify issues and to answer questions. This course provides a unique online experience to help you better understand prosthetic principles and to build your confidence in providing patient care. You will need Internet access via a DSL line and the Internet Explorer browser. Begin the course whenever you wish and you will receive 30 days of unlimited access for $385.
