Hello,
Here are the responses to the question of where to send used halos for donation.
I have included their contact info in case anyone wants to help them out.
Thank you for the responses.

halos
I had posted a request for a need for used PMT Halos for a research project underway right now. I need PMT rods and the complete blocks at either end. I do not need the vests, rings, or pins. If available, I would like to know the approximate weight of the patient. If that is not available, I would like to know what size vest the rods and blocks came from (small, med, lg.) Also, if available, I would like to know if the rods came from the front of the vest or back.
I had posted a request for used PMT halos a year or so ago for complete halos that I refurbished and sent to a medical mission group. In order to make them useable required a lot of labor and expense, I just can't do that this year. In order to make them useable they have to be sterilized, new liners made, and new pins provided. Only then could they be used overseas. Don't even think about using them again in the USA.

The Georgia Tech Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics (MSPO)
program would accept the donated HALO. We would be happy to use it as
a
demonstration device for student teaching as well as teaching to other
interested students who are looking at P&O as a career choice.
