Mr. David F. Mortetto CP, FAAOP
President AAOP

I am disappointed and enraged that AAOP could not have walked down the hall and discussed this with AOPA. You are in the same building are'nt you? In Washington State, we are opposed to direct access. Fortunately so are the physicians. Why have I bothered to go to our state legislature to speak against this issue and in favor of others just to have our national organization do this behind our backs. We struggle every day to keep patients and market share. You blew it on this one. And this is a big one. It is your responsibility as a membership organization to CLEAR something this important with your members. We have the right and responsibility to vote on something as important as this. How will you ever get this monster back in the cage?

Karl Entenmann, CPO
Past President
Northwest Chapter AAOP
Washington Orthotic and Prosthetic Association
