I have a patient that has been experiencing phantom pain and has been
unable to find any relief.
He has tried Percosett, Meperidene (Demerol), Tylenol (Extra Strength),
Lortab and Motrin IB. They have only taken the top off of any pain.
He also has trouble when storms (rain/thunder and snow) are approaching.
This occurs when low pressure approaches very slowly, 15 mph or less,
the electric shocks zap one of the nerves - 1 1/2 seconds average and
this continues around the clock for an average of 16 - 18 hours until
the storm settles in the area.
If anyone has any information I would appreciate it if you could forward
it to me.
Thank you for your help.
