No-Limit Texas Holdem Poker Tournament Charity Event to benefit the Barr
Foundation at the AAOP Annual Meeting This Friday.
Corporate Sponsors responsible for graciously underwritting the cost of the
charity event are Grace Prosthetic Fabrication,Inc. , U.S Orthotics, Inc.,
Futura International,Inc., Bull Dog , Orthotic and Prosthetic Components,
Inc. and special thanks to Jim Young, Tony Culver and Marc Kaufman for
coordinating the event and all our grand prize and door prize donors listed
below.
Its scheduled for Orlando at the American Academy Board of Orthotists and
Prosthetists annual conference , Friday nite March 18th from 7PM to
Midnight at the Coronado Springs Disney Resort. About 1100 people are
registered to attend the conference which will last 4 days.
There are no conflicting meetings or presentations at that time of the
tournament.
Room and tables reserved for up to 150 players.
The ballroom at the hotel has been donated and approved by the Academy
(AAOP) and Disney.
Entry fee for each player will be $50 (tax deductible donation to the Barr
Foundation) and a open bar provided .
No cash is awarded to winners so its legal and goes to a good cause helping
indigent amputees obtain prosthetic rehabilitation at no cost to them and
provides excellent exposure of generosity from the profession and industry
