Hi List,

I've been asked to locate a Posture Training Support, also known as a
Weighted Kypho-Orthosis. It is used on patient's with Osteoporosis to promote good
posture. The design includes neoprene butterfly straps that 1) anteriorly go
over the shoulders and under the axillas, the neoprene cushions the force which
is pulling the shoulders back, and 2) posteriorly, the straps don't have
neoprene on them, they extend down to the lumbar spine and around the waist, and a
little pocket is attached at the lumbar area to house 1,2, or 3 pound weights
(thus making it weighted to help pull the shoulders back).

I've found a similar design called the Posture Pleaser Support at
bannertherapy.com. It only lacks the axillary padding, which I could easily add
neoprene or similar padding. However, the physician would like to use the neoprene
butterfly design that he saw at Mayo in Phoenix. Has anybody seen/fit one
like this? I'll post responses. Thanks in advance!
