Swim prosthesis??

To My Fellow Practitioners,

I have a patient that needs a transtibial prosthesis which will allow him to
scuba dive. The patient wishes to position the foot in a plantar flexed
position so he can attach a fin for scuba diving.

Eight to ten years ago I fit a prosthesis with a foot/ankle that provided
the mentioned characteristics. Without naming the component, I had a very bad
experience. Before the patient received the prosthesis, I went through four
components.

I am aware of the ortho-europe ankle/foot and the Rampro ankle/foot (please
excuse my spelling of componentry). My question to everyone is, what
foot/ankles are available and what experiences have you had?

I do not feel comfortable relaying negative responses to everyone. I would
appreciate your negative results. But I would chose not to repost derogatory
comments. I will repost all successful recommendations.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

Thanks, Jake
