Hi All
Thank you to all those who replied, it seems that tru-Fit closed the
business in October 04 and that a part of the employees started a new company called
American Shoe Company. here are some of the replies.
They are not manufacturing at this time. I'm not sure what their status is.
They had a lot of turmoil in 2004 when American Custom Shoes spinned off.
American provides the exact same catalog and product. Their phone # is
914-241-0422.
Hi,
I don’t know whats up with them. I sent molds to trufit in October and they
were returned to me unopened. I called and was told by the girl answering the
phone (in almost a whisper) that they were no longer accepting new orders. I
see they have an add in the current O&P magazine, though. Good luck. I am
using Branier Shoes out of Florida with much success.
Tru0-Fit is out of business. Try American Shoe company for your custom
shoes.
Tru-Fit are out of business since about October '04. If you are interested
in custom moulded shoes feel free to give us a call, or go to our website at
www.hersco.com
I have been trying to get them too. I talked with American Custom Made
Shoes which is the company that was first Tru-Fit shoes before it split
up. They said they have gone out of business. They went by the company
and it is an empty building now.
If you want information about American Custom shoes let me know. They
have been good with my patients needs. They are to founders of Tru-Fit
shoe company and are now working under the Name of American Custom Made
shoes after the break up of the company when they had the problems over
in their plant in Russia.
From what I understand, Tru-Fit is no longer in business. One of the owners
and most of the workers started their own company called American Shoe.
Their phone number is 866-620-7463. There is a gentleman there named Chris
Gizzi, he will be able to help you I am confident
Try American Shoe Corporation, the number is 914-241-0422 Ask for Chris
Gizzi, I'm sure they can help.
