prosthetic foot and shoe distortion

Text:
I have been having a long-standing difficulty brought on by prosthetic foot
design. Many of the modern energy return feet have very wide plantar surfaces.
When the arch counter of most shoe lasts are taken into account these feet are
wider than the interior of the shoe at it's waist. I have seen this cause the
shoe to adopt a rocker sole and make alignment next to impossible. I have
three questions for the list.
1: Has anybody else noticed this phenomena
2: Has anybody discovered a fix short of regular shoe replacement
3: which shoe makes and models proven the best last to accommodate these feet
All responses would be greatly appreciated and posted Thank You Forest R
