The Cambodian School of Prosthetics and Orthotics (CSPO) is a division of the Cambodia Trust. CSPO offers Prosthetic/Orthotic education to students from low-income countries. The school holds accreditation from ISPO as a Category II institute. Also, CSPO holds ISO 9001: 2000 certification.



Currently we have students from Afghanistan, Cambodia, East Timor, Georgia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Sri Lanka.



We are seeking an experienced Prosthetist / Orthotist, who is committed to sharing their skills with young and enthusiastic students and Cambodian staff. You would work within a team of expatriate and Cambodian staff.



The successful applicant will:

   Lead a teaching team in P/O theoretical, clinical and technical subjects;
   Train, advise, support and counterpart CSPO Cambodian staff;
   Support Cambodian staff in the preparation of teaching materials, lesson plans and delivery of lessons; and
   Support Cambodian staff to prepare and conduct regular testing of student's progress.



The contract duration is 2 years.

Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Closing date: 21st January 2005.



Previous experience working in another culture would be an advantage.
