AOPA Coding & Billing Seminars
Feb. 15-16 Las Vegas, The Mirage hotel and casino
April 20-21 Columbus, Ohio, Hyatt on Capitol Square
CMS has eliminated the grace period and is requiring you to bill the
2005 HCPCS codes ahead of the usual schedule. In response, AOPA has
updated the annual Coding & Billing Seminar to include even more of the
essential coding information you need, including: detailed worksheets,
timesaving techniques and handy billing tips you can use right away.
Led by AOPA Medicare expert Kathy Dodson, the AOPA Coding & Billing
Seminar will not only bring you up to speed on how to bill the new 2005
HCPCS codes, but also:
* Explain how to properly use modifiers;
* Walk you through correct coding for orthotic and prosthetic repairs
and replacements;
* Simplify the medical policies for orthotic footwear, lower limb
prosthetics, spinal orthotics and therapeutic shoes for diabetics;
* Understand the implications of the new draft knee orthosis medical
policy on your O&P business; and
* So much more!
I attended the AOPA Coding & Billing Seminar in 2004 and really enjoyed
it, said Jean Homann, High Country Orthotics and Prosthetics. The
course strengthened the areas of billing that I needed to review. The
seminar manual is a great reference when billing.
Register before Jan. 14 for Las Vegas or Mar. 28 for Columbus to receive
an additional discount on seminar registration. To register, visit
www.AOPAnet.org or call (571) 431-0876, ext. 201.
