I have a protective helmet on a little guy that has had a large part of
his skull removed due to infection.the helmet is protecting two large
soft spots essentially. He hates the chin strap.it needs to be snug to
hold the helmet in place. I cannot grab on to his occiput, as he really
doesn't have one well defined. Any ideas as to how to keep this helmet
in place?
I think he would hate the full face piece with the chin enclosed just as
much. I am going to try to loosen the chin strap so it does not touch
his chin, but keep it from rotating forward in front of his face by
adding two more straps attached posteriorly to the helmet shell that
would run forward and attach on to the chin strap.is a stretch.
Thanks
