OPAF ANNOUNCES 2005 LEADERSHIP

The Board of Directors of the Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistance Fund
(OPAF) today announced its 2005 leadership and offered thanks to Mr.
Joel Kempfer CP, FAAOP and Mr. John W. Stephenson, CP whose terms as
President and O&P practitioner representative, respectively, recently
concluded following many years service to O&P's official philanthropy.

Mr. Jack Richmond serves as OPAF's President. Mr. Richmond follows Mr.
Don Hardin who served OPAF as President in 2004 and, in 2005, becomes
OPAF's Past President. A competitive athlete, Mr. Richmond is currently
area sales manager for The Fillauer Companies, headquartered in
Chattanooga, Tenn. He also serves on the Barr Foundation's board, is a
past president of the United Amputee Services Association, a support
group with over 1,200 members in Miami and Orlando, Fla, and has served
on the Amputee Coalition of America's advisory board.

I am looking forward to working with the OPAF board and staff to meet
the coming year's challenges and continuing to promote the enabling
technology O&P has to offer. Richmond said.

Mr. Michael Burton serves as OPAF's President-Elect. Mr. Burton is
currently the Director of Sales and Marketing for Comfort Products,
located in Croydon, Pennsylvania, which is an innovative manufacturer of
high-quality knitted goods for O&P. He has served on the OPAF board for
two years, most recently as the organization's vice-president. He just
completed 25 years of service to the field of O&P, with most of that
time as the Regional Manager for SPS in Chicago. Mr. Burton previously
served on the board of directors for the Midwest Chapter of the Academy
and was a volunteer at ABC CPM exams for several years. He holds a
bachelor's degree in business administration from Chadwick University
and is currently pursuing an M.B.A.

I feel that everyone has an obligation to volunteer their time and
talents for the overall good of the people served by their profession,
said Burton. Not being a practitioner, OPAF was a natural for me to
volunteer my time. My father was a congenital upper extremity amputee
and was denied many opportunities that he deserved. My service to OPAF
is a personal commitment to help others give wings to their dreams and
to tear down the same barriers that my father faced.

Ms. Jennifer Fayter serves as OPAF's Vice President. Ms. Fayter is
currently National Account Representative for The O&P Yellow Page
Directory published by WorldOne Publishing. Ms. Fayter is currently in
her second year of her 3 year term with OPAF and has been a long-time
supporter of the organization. My desire to help challenged individuals
is driven from the heart. I am honored to work with the talented staff
of OPAF, to work toward the goal of creating greater public awareness of
O&P through the community's official philanthropy.

Ms. Jinsook Han serves as OPAF's Treasurer for a second year. Ms. Han is
currently a student at Kellogg School of Management. After performing
more than eight years of public accounting and internal audit work, Ms.
Han is currently pursuing her MBA degree at Kellogg School of
Management's accelerated program. She is a Certified Public Accountant,
Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified Fraud Examiner.

Ms. Elizabeth Mansfield serves a three-year term as director at-large,
joining seven directors who are continuing their OPAF directorships in
2005. These individuals include Bob Arbogast, Jonathan D. Day, CPO, Jim
Lagerstrom, Bill Limehouse, CP, FAAOP, Gay B. Molnar, Ted A. Trower,
CPO, and Christine M. Truskowski, PT, MS.

Ms. Mansfield is currently President of Outsource Marketing Solutions,
LLC, a Hartford, Conn.-based firm focused on meeting the marketing,
business development and legislative advocacy needs of the orthotic and
prosthetic community. She holds a degree in Communications from Boston
College and is a frequent speaker at orthotic and prosthetic symposiums
around the country. In addition, Ms. Mansfield is a member of the
Amputee Coalition of America's Public Policy and Advocacy Committee. Ms.
Mansfield is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Altman
Prosthetic and Orthotic Center, an independent orthotic and prosthetic
patient care provider with offices in Glastonbury and Farmington,
Connecticut.

I am delighted to join the OPAF Board, said Mansfield. With the
quality, knowledge and experience of the existing board members and the
leadership and support that Jeff Reznick and Julie Besaha provide, I
know I will be able to make a significant contribution to OPAF's
continued success.

OPAF is a 501(c)(3) public charity, the official philanthropy of the
U.S. orthotics and prosthetics community, established in 1995 by the
Orthotic and Prosthetic National Office. Dedicated initially to
providing financial and in-kind support to the 1996 Paralympics, OPAF
now generates its own initiatives through partnerships with individuals,
organizations and institutions engaged in raising public awareness of
disability and improving the quality of rehabilitation medicine, science
and technology.

As a community-focused nonprofit organization, OPAF aims primarily to
enable individuals with physical disabilities-especially those served by
members of the orthotics and prosthetics community-to enjoy the rewards
of personal achievement, physical fitness, and social interaction.

All contributions to OPAF are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of
U.S. law, and annual sponsorships of OPAF, its programs, and its
fundraisers are available to every individual, institution, and company
inside and beyond the O&P community. For more information about
sponsorship opportunities contact OPAF at 1666 K Street NW, Suite 440,
