Dear List,
If you are a prosthetist - ANYWHERE - in the United States and are working with a Connecticut amputee whose prosthetic coverage is capped - please feel free to have them contact me ASAP. We are working on parity legislation in Connecticut and need to reach as many potential grassroots advocates as possible.
In order to be successful, this effort needs to be patient/client/customer/consumer - take your pick - driven. HOWEVER, it is imperative that those of us working on this initiative receive the full support of the prosthetists working with Connecticut amputees. By full support, I mean that you must actively assist us by spreading the word and letting people know whom to contact - and by calling, emailing, writing your legislators when the time comes.
Here is the link to the Hartford Courant article.

I would encourage you to print it out, post it and write my phone number on it and put it in your reception area. I can be reached at 860-232-8204 or by email at <Email Address Redacted>
Thank you,
Elizabeth
