Greetings,
I am a graduate student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Marquette University. My thesis work is a functional comparison of two knee joints, the Otto Bock 3R80 and the Total Knee 2000 by Ossur. I will be using gait analysis to evaluate the trade offs between stance phase stability and the effort required to initiate swing phase. I am looking for prosthetists in the Milwaukee area who have patients on either one of these knee units, and who are interested in assisting me with recruitment and prosthetic fittings. If you are interested in hearing more about this study, please contact me through email ( <Email Address Redacted> ) or by phone at (414) 807-8194.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Chrissy Boyda
