I have a six year old Trans-Tibial amputee I've fitted before using the
Tru-Per foot from College Park. I've not been entirely pleased with the
durability of the foot. I'm not aware of any other pediatric multi-axis
feet. Have I missed one?
Also, this child has a problem with hyperextension of the knee on the
ampuated limb. I've previously used a molded thigh lacer with single axis
side joints. To reduce compression atrophy and to encourage the use of the
quadriceps I'd like to try using a knee orthosis on the prosthesis rather
than the lacer. Does anyone have experience with a effective KO to control
genu recurvatum on a six year old?
