Thank you for your responses....I found out that DCO also stands for Dynamic
Control Orthosis (like a Richie brace), and is made by Langer,Inc.

What kind of control is Jason looking for in this AFO? DCO can also mean
Diagnostic Check Orthosis. Our sister company, Becker Oregon, fabricates
all types of laminated, thermoplastic, and metal & leather AFOs that can
provide a variety of different controls to the foot ankle complex. If you
like to give them a call and get more information, you can contact them at
(800) 866-7522. Hope that helps.

We use this to describe a Diagnostic Check Orthosis (DCO) a clear check
socket orthosis. Not sure about your application.

Subject: [OANDP-L] DCO AFO

Hello and I thank you in advance for your help. I am writing this for Jason
Silke, CPO. He has a request for a DCO AFO, which he believes is a Dynamic
Control Orthosis AFO, but he would like that confirmed as well as who might
manufacture this device and any l-codes associated with the device.

Again, thank you in advance,
Kim Edgar,
Office Manager
