Original post:

I have an adult female post polio patient wearing bil. kafo with shoes
attached. She has very small feet (12.5 and 2.5). She is wearing an
old shoe that came from Walkin Shoe Co. several years ago that has
abeen discontinued. It is a casual tennis shoe style. I am looking for
a phone number for Walkin Shoe Co. and any other source for shoes that
might meet her needs. She has had several from Markell and is not
interested in trying any more from them.

You didn't mention shoesonthenet.com as a place that you had looked,
so I will recommend it. If it involves a brace being built into the
shoe, I am not sure that Littonian shoes in Pennsylvania would be a help
for you, but they are a very helpful lot when I needed children's shoes.
They are a very friendly lot and the shoes are very affordable. I found
their web site at <URL Redacted> . Their contact information
is at the bottom of the page.

I haven't looked at all the sites listed here and they change once
in a while. Sara McIntosh, Small fitting footwear and Shoedini off that
web page are certainly possibilities.

This is another site that originated in Britain but their shoes are in
America now. They are good comfortable and orthopedic footwear.
Orthopods trained in Britain ask for them. I pulled up the sneaker page
to have a look.
To be honest, I don't do braces, so I am not sure if they would
work, but you would have a better shot at knowing that one!
Lots of athletic style shoes for kids.

I also got the following email from Nordstroms after emailing them the question of mis mating shoes:

Thank you so much for your e-mail inquiry to Nordstrom.com regarding split-shoe sizes. We do offer a split-shoe size service for customers who have a 1 1/2 or greater size difference between each foot. Split-shoe size orders cannot be placed on our website. Orders must be called into our catalog division at 1.888.282.6060 so the associate can override the price on one pair of the boots/shoes. This service is also available through our Nordstrom stores. You would just want inform the associate that you are interested in a split-shot order.

If you see a pair of shoes online that you are interested in, please jot down the item number and provide them to the associate when you call our catalog division or visit our Nordstrom store.
Please note, we do feature some shoes online which are not eligible for this service. These shoes ship directly from the vendor and have a quoted 6-10 business day delivery timeframe.

Great service for kids and adults.
