Hi List,
This is a question directed to members of AOPA. I'm a pretty new member to AOPA-1year and now it's time to renew my membership. I've called several times in the past and left messages to the person(s) (I don't wish to get them in any trouble) in reimbursement services. I never receive a call back from them. I have to call back and hope to catch them in the office. I'm pretty busy and don't really have the benefit to call back often. So I really rely on them to call me back. I've left a message this time over a week and a half ago and still no reply. I'm a small comapny and have good people that give me ALL of my messages. When we're closed the phones are transferred to my cell phone so I get ALL of the calls including voice mails after hours-there's no excuse. Why do they have voice mail if they don't utilize it? I've had the same non-response when leaving messages to the AOPA bookstore voice mail. I'm really pondering on not renewing my membership and just asking the list s!
erver for
advice instead. Is this a common problem with AOPA? If so, in the real world, there would be major changes to either the voice mail system or positions.
Now tommorrow (Friday) I'm in a CEU class and will be out of pocket. Now is someone's chance to shine. Has anyone in region C had a problem with rejections from Medicare on K-0556 (locking gel liners)? Every claim with that code that I've sent in (electronically) has been rejected (that code only rejected). Don't get me wrong, whenever I do get to talk to them, they are very helpful. I haven't sent any paper in as yet-I was really wanting to hear from AOPA about this issue as I have right now over $11,000 rejected so far. According to the email from AOPA several months ago, this should be covered and paid. Any help form anyone else. If you do good, I'll consider to pay you the money instead of AOPA.
Thanks,
