There are quite a few commercially available skin lotions, creams, and ointments available for amputees. Aqueous, mineral oil, silicone and petrolatum based. With and without vitamins and other medicinal ingredients. Absorbed by the skin or not, to varying degrees and rates.

Which ones do you use or recommend for your patients
and for what situations or skin types? How well do they work? Which ones are junk?

Thank you, and I will summarize all responses.
