I have a patient that has a Lisfranc amputation on the left side and a BK on
the right side. He is able to have a little bit of dorsiflexion and plantar
flexion on the partial foot side. The current device on this side an AFO
with carbon foot plate attached. During gait he has extreme eversion on the
partial foot side. Are there any ideas out there for a prosthesis that
could allow him to use the dorsiflexion and plantar flexion, but give him
stability to prevent the extreme eversion. He is an active patient so he
will need the stability to allow him to do the activities he enjoys doing.
Thank you for any thoughts.
